Van Metre Companies, the sponsor of the 16th Annual 5 Mile Run for Children's Hospital, raised $72,000 for the Children's National Medical Center, thanks to the generous support of many of our business partners. Rick Rabil, President of Van Metre Companies, presented the check to Dr. Mary Donofrio from Children's Hospital. Dr. Frank Midgley ran the race again this year and is proud to say he has run all 16 races! Danielle Weaver and Dr. Donofrio prsented Rick with a framed picture of a past years race commemorating Al Van Metre, Rick and the Van Metre Companies for establishing the Van Metre Cardiovascular Operating Suite in honor of Dr. Frank Midgley.
