Intercoastal Mortgage
In 1987, Van Metre started a mortgage company, to provide a service to its homebuyers. Intercoastal Mortgage continues to do that, and so much more. The mortgage company is one of metro Washington's top mortgage brokers, year in and year out. Some 70% of Van Metre homebuyers get their mortgage from Intercoastal. But that volume represents less than 20% of all loan originations. Intercoastal is a true stand alone business.

Walker / Dominion Title
Van Metre owns a title insurance company , yet another way to assist our customers. As is the case with its mortgage operations, the title company seeks to service not just Van Metre Homes buyers, but also third party buyers and homeowners who refinance their mortgage. The agency works with a settlement company to facilitate smooth closings.
